Bond appointed chairman of Centiel's subsidiary in UK

February 12, 2018

David Bond has been appointed chairman of the UK subsidiary of Swiss-based UPS manufacturer and namesake Centiel.

The appointment follows Centiel’s acquisition of MPower UPS at the end of 2017.

Bond, who has worked in the UPS industry for more than 30 years, was formerly MD of UPS and battery systems firm Benning Power Electronics (UK) and Emerson Network Power— which was spun off in 2016 to become Vertiv.

Bond is also a former CEO of the ABB group’s Newave Energy.

Centiel is to demonstrate its CumulusPower UPS in the UK for the first time at Data Centre World in London next month.
